KB Home Opens Two Communities in Oakley, California
KB Home debuts The Landing and The Meadows within Cypress Ranch, a new master-planned community in Oakley, CA, starting in the low $600Ks.
KB Home has opened two new residential communities — The Landing and The Meadows — within Cypress Ranch, a master-planned development in Oakley, California, the homebuilder announced Thursday. Both neighborhoods are now available for tours, with pricing beginning in the low $600,000s.
The communities are positioned within walking distance of local schools and parks, an amenity package that KB Home highlighted as central to the development's appeal for families and first-time buyers in the San Francisco Bay Area's East Contra Costa County region.

Cypress Ranch represents the latest expansion push by KB Home (NYSE: KBH), which ranks among the largest homebuilders in the United States. The Oakley location gives buyers access to a suburban setting with proximity to regional employment corridors, at price points notably below median home values in many surrounding Bay Area markets.
The master-plan format of Cypress Ranch typically allows for shared community infrastructure — green space, trails, and recreational facilities — developed in phases as individual neighborhoods like The Landing and The Meadows come online. KB Home has not publicly disclosed the total number of planned homesites across the full Cypress Ranch development.
