Kraken Parent Payward Links With Singapore Gulf Bank for Round-the-Clock Settlement
Payward integrates SGB Net for instant institutional settlement in Asia and the Gulf, while Kraken Prime gains a new liquidity channel.
Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, has completed an integration with Singapore Gulf Bank's real-time clearing network, SGB Net, enabling institutional clients across Asia and the Gulf region to settle digital asset transactions instantly at any hour of the day, the companies announced Sunday.

The deal underscores the accelerating push by regulated financial institutions to build infrastructure that bridges traditional banking rails with digital asset markets. Singapore and Gulf Cooperation Council jurisdictions have both positioned themselves as crypto-friendly regulatory environments, making the corridor a natural focus for firms seeking institutional-grade settlement solutions.
