Santé Secures $15M Series A for AI Wine and Spirits Retail Platform
Santé raised $15M to expand its AI operating system serving nearly 1,000 stores and processing $2B in gross merchandise value.
Santé, a financial technology and artificial intelligence platform focused on the wine and spirits sector, announced Tuesday it has closed a $15 million Series A funding round, with proceeds earmarked for expanding what the company describes as the first AI operating system built specifically for beverage alcohol retail.
The New York-based company said its platform currently powers nearly 1,000 retail stores and processes approximately $2 billion in gross merchandise volume, positioning it as one of the more established technology players in a sector that has historically lagged in digital adoption. The latest capital infusion will fund the rollout of autonomous AI sales tools designed to help retailers increase revenue without adding headcount.

The Series A round was led by undisclosed investors, according to the company's announcement. Santé frames its technology as an operating system layer — integrating inventory management, customer engagement, and sales automation into a single platform tailored to the regulatory and logistical complexities of wine and spirits distribution in the United States.
The funding arrives as specialty beverage retail faces mounting pressure from e-commerce competitors and shifting consumer preferences, creating demand for data-driven tools that can personalize recommendations and optimize pricing at scale. Santé's autonomous AI tools aim to address that gap by embedding machine-learning capabilities directly into day-to-day store operations, reducing reliance on manual processes.
