MassPay Cuts FX Conversion Steps for Cross-Border Payouts
MassPay now routes payments to 180 countries in local currency with one FX conversion, eliminating costly intermediary currency hops.
MassPay, a global financial orchestration platform and Visa Direct partner, has expanded its cross-border payout capabilities, allowing businesses to send funds directly to recipients in 180 countries using local currency without routing transactions through the U.S. dollar or other intermediary currencies, the company announced Wednesday in Las Vegas.
The move addresses a long-standing friction point in international payments, where a single cross-border transaction could trigger multiple foreign-exchange conversions — each one shaving value from the final amount received. By collapsing that process into a single FX hop, MassPay says payees retain more of every disbursement.

The company positioned the announcement as part of a broader push to simplify what it calls financial orchestration — the coordination of payment routing, compliance, and currency management across jurisdictions.
